Andrew Perez first picked up guitar while in high school. His formal study began at Columbia College where he received two AA degrees in English and liberal arts. He has gone on to receive his B.A. in music from C.S.U. Stanislaus. Andrew can teach all styles of music.

Randy Carnahan began teaching at Janis Music in 1992. Specializing in String instruments, Randy teaches Violin, Viola, Upright Bass, Guitar and Piano. Randy has received his Bachelors degree and is currently musical director for the Children’s Home of Stockton

Laurel Dalzell has played violin for over 12 years. She has an AA in music from Ohlone College and has been performing with college and church orchestra since 1997. Laurel teaches classical violin for beginners to advanced players from children to adults.

Gabbi Cooney has an AA in business from Golden State Baptist College and recently earned her AA in Child Development from Mission College. She has taken ten years of formal piano instruction and has been playing for over twelve years. Gabbi also teaches voice.

Pieter Koon brings 30 years of drumming experience to Janis Music Studios. Pieter believes the more techniques a student understands and masters the more flexibility the student will have in their performance. Pieter’s teaching method involves the training and development of all techniques needed for the student to develop his or her own creative style. Students are taught to read drum scores and perform different genres of music conducive to the trap set.

Annie Ippolito began playing violin at the age of 3 and has since studied the viola, cello and piano. Annie is currently a viola performance major at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of music in Stockton. Annie plans to attend graduate school concentrating on Chamber Music or Conducting. Annie teaches both violin and viola.

Aaron Mooradian has 11years experience playing music and is studying for his. A.A. in music from Delta College. Aaron teaches woodwinds, piano and beginning guitar and ukulele and is currently active in local music scene. He has been working with special needs children for the past four years.

Cecilee Jones has a combined 12 years of teaching experience from Claudia Roberts Piano studios and Dexter Music Academy. She has received her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and is working for her Masters in Historic Studies of Religions. Cecilee teaches Piano and Voice.
